The Corn Exchange

West Berks entertainment venue situated in Newbury’s town centre hosts drama, comedy, music, dance, exhibitions, films, resident orchestra Southern Sinfonia, a bar and cafe. In summer there are family shows & music in the streets and parks, and a pantomime December to January. The Corn Exchange also manages New Greenham Arts ­workshops, performances and gallery.

Desmoulin

Housed in the granary on the Wharf, the town’s finest old building. This contemporary art gallery is showing an ever changing collection of quality art and artifacts, created by the best artists and makers, many of whom are local. The gallery is host to a variety of different exhibitions and concerts throughout the year and is always an exciting place to visit. Its cafe serves ’the best coffee in town’ and does tasty light lunches and excellent soups, with vegetarians well catered for.

Holme Grange Craft Village

Set in the heart of a rural farming area, consisting of renovated 19th century farm buildings, within easy access of the centres of Wokingham, Crowthorne and Bracknell.
