Beale Park
A unique, 45 year old Thames-side charity, which is home to an amazing collection of birds including swans, owls, parrots and pheasants but also boasts a narrow gauge railway with a steam engine, huge adventure playground and sand pits, two children's splash pools, goats, ponies, a 'hands-on' pets corner and deer park, Piggery, raised flamingo walk, new restaurant, a gift shop and much more. Look Out Discovery Park
A favouritye children’s attraction and voted 14th out of 50 by the Independent in it's "The 50 Best Spring Days Out in Britain". The park offers a feast of fun activities on scientific themes as well as adventure playgrounds and the chance to enjoy tranquil woodland tracks on a hired mountain bike.

Runnymede 
Historic meads on the banks of the Thames are the site where the Magna Carta, the great charter of English liberties, was sealed by King John in June 1215. Also there are memorials to President J F Kennedy and to RAF airmen killed in the second world war who have no known graves.

Wellington Country Park
350 acres of park and woodland providing an ideal venue for a family outing.
