Originally constructed to carry coal from the local mines, the East Kent Railway now carries passengers from an idyllic station at Shepherdswell to the village of Eythorne in historic trains. Also buffet, shop, miniature railway, picnic area and museum.

Romney Hythe  & Dymchurch Railway

Kent’s premier tourist railway, running for 13.5 miles from Hythe to Dungeness lighthouse via Dymchurch and New Romney. Superb one third full size steam and diesel locomotives, comfortable carrages, cafes at Dungeness and New Romney. Gift shops at all principal stations. The "Toy and Model Museum" at New Romney and an adventure playground all add up to a great family day out.
