Chichester Cathedral

In the heart of the city, this fine Cathedral has been a center Christian worship and community life for 900 years and is the site of the Shrine of St Richard of Chichester. Its treasures range from Romanesque stone carvings to 20th century works of art. Refectory in Cloister and Gift Shop in Bell Tower. Guided tours available.

Lancing College Chapel

Magnificent Gothic Chapel set on the South Downs. Founded 1868 and dedicated 1911. The Rose Window (9.7m diameter} was dedicated in 1978. Dominant impression of the nave is its height: 27.5m to the apex of the vault. Features include the stall canopies, the brass lectern, bronze  candlesticks, altar silver and fine tapestries.
