Comprehensive range of exhibits relating to the industrial history of Bristol and region. Water, air and land
vehicles, shunting engine and Fairbairn steam crane. Bristol Harbour Railway runs on several weekends throughout

City Museum & Art Gallery
Outstanding collections of art and archaelology, geology and natural history housed in a magnificent
early 20thC building. The collections range widely to cover Chinese ceramics and paintings by the Bristol School;
artefacts from ancient Egypt and the wildlife of south west England. Changing exhibitions add another dimension and
a shop and cafe complete the visit.

Frenchay Village Museum
A community museum which gives an insight into an unusual village that from the 17th century was largely made up of
non-conformist Quakers and Unitarians. The museum contains a collection of Quaker artefacts, paintings, Victorian
mountaineering equipment. It also hosts regularly changing exhibitions and has a large collection of historic
photographs of Frenchay and local records.

The George Muller House
Museum
Museum on the life of George Muller and the foundation he established in 1834. The work of the foundation
continues today through work with children, young people and families and in schools in the Greater Bristol area.

The Matthew
John Cabot discovered Newfoundland in 1497 in the original Matthew, becoming the first European known to have set
foot on the American mainland. Today’s Matthew is a faithful reconstruction built to cross the Atlantic on the
500th anniversary. Today she is moored alongside the ss Great Britain as part of the attraction. May be hired for
cruises, dinner parties, receptions or buffets.
