Docton Mill & Garden

Situated in a valley 1000m from the coast. The Garden started in the 1930’s but fell into disrepair in the 1970’s. 1980 saw the Mill renovated and Garden cleared with extensive planting and the creation of a new Bog Garden and borders, vast numbers of trees were planted.

Escot Country Park & Gardens

The original gardens were set out by Capability Brown and have been brought to life through the skill and imagination of Land artist and television gardener Ivan Hicks
220 acres of  parkland and gardens filled with rare shrubs and magnificent trees, and teeming with wildlife. There are otters and wild boar, red squirrels and a displays by birds of prey.

Killerton House & Gardens 

18th-century house with costume collection, hillside garden and estate.  The garden  features rhododendrons, magnolias, herbaceous borders and rare trees, as well as an ice house and early 19th-century rustic-style summer house.

Overbecks Museum & Garden 

The scientist Otto Overbeck lived here from 1928 to 1937 and the Museum contains his collections of curios and nautical artefacts.  The house is set in 7 acres of gardens with views over the Salcombe estuary.

RHS Garden Rosemoor

A 40 acre garden set in the  Torridge Valley of North Devon. The original 8 acre garden was created by Lady Anne Berry in a hillside setting full of flowering trees, shrubs, roses, bulbs and herbaceous plants.

Winsford Walled Garden

A Victorian garden located in North Devon, Winsford Walled Garden can trace the family of the original owners to 1755, friends of whom include US President Theodore Roosevelt
This garden features Agapanthus, Cannas, ornamental gingers, herbs and large numbers of herbaceous perennials. The 300' south wall grows subtropical climbers. Developing bamboo grove and alpine house.
