Situated on the old paddocks of what was once a very famous Racing Yard, Danebury
Vineyards produce white wine and sparkling wine, characterised by their clean, crisp flavour. Using
only the first pressings of hand-selected grapes visitors can taste the refreshingly dry Danebury Cossack,
a sparkling wine named after an 1847 locally trained Derby winner. Or the fresh and fruity Danebury
Pyrrhus, "Pyrrhus" being a Danebury trained Derby winner who would probably have lost the race had his
rival not been drunk and unable to steer his mount! In addition to wine tasting, visitors can enjoy guided
tours of the vineyard and cellar.
