Hereford Cathedral
A place of worship since Saxon times, Hereford Cathedral contains some
of the finest examples of architectural excellence from Norman times up to the present
day, including the Romanesque Nave, the Shrine of St Thomas in the North Transept and the award winning new
Library Building funded by the late Sir Paul Getty. Cathedral Shop, Cloister Cafe and recently restored Chapter
House Garden. Currently there is large-scale restoration work on the Lady Chapel, the Audley Chapel, the Great
Organ and the tower
