Croxteth Hall & Country Park
At the heart of what was once a great country estate stretching hundreds of square miles and
was the ancestral home of the Earls of Sefton. It is now one of the major heritage centres of the North West.
The estate has three main pay-in attractions - The Historic Hall, Croxteth Home Farm and The Victorian Walled
Garden. The 500 acre country park is free.

Knowsley Hall & Safari Park
The Hall has undergone extensive restoration to return the State
Rooms to their former glory. The works also included the remodelling of the first floor to provide beautiful
bedrooms all with private bathrooms, finished to the highest standard. Some of the Rooms to view are The
Stucco Room, The State Dining Room, Lord Derby's Bedroom Lady Derby's Bedroom . The
Safari Park was opened to the public in July 1971

Meols Hall
Meols Hall is Southport's historical manor house dating back to the early 12th Century.
Set in one hundred acres of private park land close to the picturesque village of Churchtown, this is one
of the oldest settlements on the Lancashire coast

Speke Hall 
One of the most famous half timbered houses in Britain, now owned by the National Trust. Dates
from the period 1490 to 1612. The known history of the manor of Speke goes back to the Doomesday survey of
1086.

Sudley House
A Liverpool Victorian merchant's house where the art collection is displayed in its original
setting. George Holt began collecting paintings in the late 1860s specialising in british art. Highlights of
the collection include paintings by Millais, Landseer, Turner, Gainsborough and Romney
