A unique collection of individual businesses working in beautifully restored farm
buildings and surrounded by four acres of outstanding gardens and ponds. Established for over 25 years the
centre features both traditional and contemporary crafts, Affinity Arts Gallery, a gift shop and tearoom.
The garden was created after the great storm of 1987. The plantings are the result of a lifetime of
collecting by Valerie Alston and provides colour for all seasons.
Art gallery. Selected by the Crafts Council for the National List of Craft Shops &
Galleries. Stock of work by over 200 artists including paintings, prints, sculpture, studio ceramics,
glass and designer jewellery.

Situated on the same site as historic Creake Abbey, Creake Abbey Studios operates as a
creative workplace for artists and designers who offer visitors, among other products, exciting and
original artistic gifts, and rural clothing. In the summer, the café provides cold drinks and ice creams
beside a tranquil pond. The location has abundant wildlife and is situated just 4 miles from the North
Norfolk coast. Entry is free across the property and there is ample parking.

The Gallery is housed in a converted traditional Norfolk Barn. Exhibitions of paintings and
sculpture are held regularly, with fine displays of contemporary crafts, including pottery, woodcarving
and textiles. Many of the original pieces being produced in East Anglia.

An intimate venue hosting a programme of comedy, drama, music, dance, film, and visual
arts. Housed in the 15th century Guildhall of St George, one of England's oldest surviving Guildhalls, the
centre brings this historic building to life with its range of presentations in the main auditorium. The
complex also houses two art galleries, hosting a year round programme of exhibitions and regular art,
craft and education workshops.
A superb Tudor building which hosts a variety of activities. Two fine medieval halls house
a Contemporary Art Gallery and a Music Room; a small craft shop serves as a showcase for East Anglian
artists. Four meeting rooms are available for training, lectures, working meetings, corporate
entertainment or social occasions, and a lively Café and peaceful courtyard provide an informal and
relaxed atmosphere.
Welcomes many thousands of visitors every year who come to witness the ancient craft of
glass making - a craft that has changed little in the past three hundred years.
Internationally renowned, this unique and intimate theatre presents a programme by top
British and international playwrights, professionally created and staged by and for the local
community plus touring shows and celebrity one-night-stands.
Making a full range of willow baskets using our own organically grown willow. Always a full
range of willow baskets to purchase. One or two basketmakers often at work.

Shows a changing programme of work by living artists, designers and crafts makers who all come to Norwich and
take part in teaching programmes
Following an extensive refurbishment programme the Picturecraft Gallery now contains 32
display spaces where established and emerging artists exhibit their paintings for a three week period,
ensuring a changing and varied range of traditional and contemporary work can always be discovered. The
gallery's award winning "no commission " system of display enables the public, in effect, to buy directly
from the artist. Five major one-man exhibitions feature during 2004 and an Events Diary is available on
request.

The Centre houses the Robert and Lisa Sainsbury Collection of modern European
and World art. Under the soaring roof of Norman Foster’s building, some 2000 objects reflect over
5000 years of creativity. Works by Picasso, Bacon, Moore and Giacometti rub shoulders with objects and
images from other cultures that inspired them. Look out for special exhibitions too.
Malcolm Flatman specialises in practical, affordable, and repeatable tableware, but also
makes many decorative pieces. His lamps are unusual and eye-catching. Malcolm prefers to begin all work on
the potter's wheel initially, including special one-off orders, complete dinner services, lamps and
decorative pieces
Varying art & craft exhibitions mainly by local people, with most work offered for
