Housed in a 15th Century manor house, containing military history, a 19th
Century fashion gallery and the story of Northampton life ‘from the cradle to the grave’
Waterways Heritage on a living canal. Housed in a restored cornmill in the picturesque
village of Stoke Bruerne, the museum vividly tells the story of our inland waterways and the people who
worked them.
Depicts the top secret war time roles of the USAAF Carpetbagger Group, the OSS and SOE;
Northamptonshire at war. Thor nuclear rockets at Harrington; and the Royal Observer Corps.
