Cusworth Hall & Museum of South Yorkshire
Former home of the Battie Wrightson family and built in the 1740s, Cusworth Hall is set in 50 acres of parkland and

Kelham Island Museum

Sheffield Bus Museum
A collection ranges from the period 1926-1985 and comprises of over 20 assorted buses and coaches. Of particular
interest is a locally-built Sheffield tramcar (1926). The Sheffield Bus Museum is housed in the former Sheffield
Tramways Company horse tram shed (dating from 1873).

Weston Park Museum
Formally the City Museum and Mappin Art Gallery. Currently cosed for a £17.3 million refurbishment and due to
re open in Autumn 2005. An exciting new vision is being created to save the Victorian building and provide a
new visitor experience that will make this a museum for the 21st century and beyond. Weston Park museum will
be an inspiring place for discovery and learning, opening up Sheffield's collections and making the most of the
building itself and its superb location in Weston Park.

Worsbrough Mill Museum & Country Park
There has been a mill at Worsbrough since the time of the Domesday Book with the present buildings dating from
1625. On milling days you can experience the noise and smells of the water-powered machinery grinding the wheat to
produce wholemeal flour which is for sale. The mill is set in an impressive country park which is a haven for
wildlife. The reservoir also attracts a great variety of birds including herons, canadian geese and kestrels.

Wortley Top Forge Industrial Museum
A fascinating water powered Iron Forge whose history can be traced back to 1640. Best known for the Wrought Iron
Railway Axles that were produced between 1840 and 1910, exhibits include the original waterwheels and water powered
drop hammers.
