Built on an ancient beacon site, Broadway Tower has a colourful history as - amongst others
- home to the renowned printing press of Sir Thomas Phillips, country retreat for Pre-Raphaelite artists,
notably the artist, designer, writer, craftsman, and socialist William Morris, location for the studies of
the distinguished archeologist Sir Arthur Evans, and farmhouse.
A fine timber-framed house built about 1480. The panelled rooms contain a large variety
of textiles and furnishings. An archway leads to a delightful walled garden
18th century Palladian House, housing some of the finest examples of Rococo Chippendale
furniture and family paintings.

Built in 1730 and is attributed to Smith of Warwick. The House is Grade 1 listed and
contains one of the finest Baroque interiors in England. Particularly noteworthy are The Hall, The Oak
Drawing Room, The Inlaid Drawing Room and The Dining Room
The gardens at Mawley were laid out in the 1960s and have since attained listed status.
They incorporate large expanses of lawn, parterres, vistas, urns monuments and a Herb Garden, as
well as mature oaks, beaches and cedars. Also to be found is an extensive collection of ornamental
trees
